The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA) and the host Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA), observed Pottsgrove's football squad thwart Upper Merion Area by a tally of 17-7.

The Falcons now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Phoenixville for a Pioneer - Frontier contest on Friday, October 19. Pottsgrove will play a Phantoms squad coming off a 49-0 league win over Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Phantoms record now stands at 3-5.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) in a Pioneer - Frontier contest, on Saturday, October 20. Upper Merion Area will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 20-12 league win over Pottstown (Pottstown, PA).
