New York High School Football - Green Tech drops to Amsterdam
September 29, 2018: Amsterdam, NY 12010 In Saturday's league game, the Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) football team knocked off the visiting Green Tech (Albany, NY), by a score of 27-12.
The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 2 A - Capital game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Averill Park toppled Columbia (East Greenbush, NY), 34-0, in a league game.
The now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle Institute for a Section 2 A - Capital game on Friday, October 5. Green Tech will battle a Cadets team coming off a 49-12 non-league win over Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 3-3.
