The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), observed North Mecklenburg's football squad thwart Olympic by a tally of 55-26.

The Vikings now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rocky River for a non-league contest on Friday, September 7.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 31. Olympic will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 54-19 non-league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
