North Carolina High School Football - Mitchell defeats Cannon
August 24, 2018: Concord, NC 28027 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored a good 27-6 victory over the Cannon Cougars.
In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Trinity Academy Knights (Gray, TN) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 31. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 41-12 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN).
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Christ School dropped by Episcopal (Bellaire, TX), 28-21, in a non-league match.
