In Friday's non-league match, the host Stoneman Douglas Eagles football squad scored a big 35-0 victory over the Northeast Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Coral Springs Colts (Coral Springs, FL) in a 8A District 11 match, on Friday, October 5. Stoneman Douglas will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 16-12 non-league loss to Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL).
