Maine High School Softball - Telstar bounces Richmond
May 22, 2021: Bethel, ME 04217 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME) and the visiting Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), witnessed Telstar's softball squad tip Richmond by a count of 8-1.
The Rebels now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Carrabec for a Class C South match on Monday, May 24. Telstar will meet a Cobras squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Cobras record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Richmond moves to 7-4 on the season. The Bobcats host North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, May 27. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 6-4. North Yarmouth Academy won 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME)
