California High School Softball - Helix nudges San Diego

April 6, 2021: La Mesa, CA 91941

Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brawley for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 9. Helix will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Santana (Santee, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, San Diego falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cavers travel to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Norsemen in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 12. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
