October 21, 2016: Lick Creek, KY 41540 In Friday's league match, the visiting Leslie County Eagles football squad scored a big 47-12 victory over the East Ridge Warriors.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Leslie County will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Colonels enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 44-12 league win over Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY).
The Warriors (3-6) will now prepare for their match against South Floyd (Hi Hat, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, South Floyd was crushed by Phelps (Phelps, KY), 48-6, in a league match.
