Missouri High School Football - Lafayette drops to Kirkwood
September 2, 2016: Kirkwood, MO 63122 In Friday's non-league game, the Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO) football team knocked off the visiting Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO), by a final score of 37-12.
The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO). The Pirates come into the Suburban 12 - South game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Pattonville was dropped by Eureka (Eureka, MO), 48-37, in a non-league game.
The Lancers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lindbergh for a Suburban West - North game on Friday, September 9. Lafayette will battle a Flyers team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Hazelwood Central (Florissant, MO). The Flyers record now stands at 1-2.
