Illinois High School Football - Sycamore succumbs to DeKalb
September 16, 2016: Sycamore, IL 60178 The DeKalb Barbs thwarted the host Sycamore Spartans football team by a count of 28-12 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, DeKalb upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Barbs travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to encounter the Knights in a Northern Illinois Big 12 - East outing on Friday, September 23. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Kaneland won 26-21 in their recent league outing against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
With the loss, Sycamore moves to 1-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 23. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a record of 1-3. LaSalle-Peru lost 49-0 in their recent league bout against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
