West Virginia High School Football - Clay County victorious over Shady Spring
October 21, 2016: Clay, WV 25043 In Friday's non-league match, the host Clay County Panthers football squad scored a good 18-6 victory over the Shady Spring Tigers.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV) in a Little Kanawha match, on Friday, October 28. Clay County will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 16-0 league loss to Webster County (Upper Glade, WV).
The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders enter the Coalfield AA match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Liberty was toppled by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 34-6, in a league match.
