In Friday's non-league test, the host Hickory Grove Christian Lions football team scored a decisive 43-8 triumph over the Christ the King Crusaders.

With the triumph, Hickory Grove Christian improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Cannon (Concord, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, October 7.
