Maryland High School Football - Paint Branch held off by Sherwood
October 21, 2016: Burtonsville, MD 20866 Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), 27-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Sherwood improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD) to battle the Cavaliers in a Montgomery County 4A - East test on Friday, October 28. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 0-8. Kennedy lost 54-0 in their recent league test against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
With the loss, Paint Branch drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to battle the Gladiators in a Montgomery County 4A - East test on Friday, October 28. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 3-6. Northwood lost 40-8 in their recent non-league test against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD)
