North Carolina High School Basketball - Gray Stone Day falls to Porter Ridge
December 29, 2015: Indian Trail, NC 28079 In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Porter Ridge Pirates basketball team scored a good 43-24 triumph over the Gray Stone Day Knights.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A match, on Tuesday, January 5. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 7-4 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI).
With the defeat, Gray Stone Day moves to 8-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 30. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-7. Mount Pleasant won 50-47 in their recent non-league match against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
