January 16, 2016: Mayville, ND 58257 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) and the visiting Lakota/Adams-Edmore Raiders (Lakota, ND), saw Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg's basketball squad hold off Lakota/Adams-Edmore by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Larimore (Larimore, ND) to confront the Polar Bears in a District 3 challenge on Friday, January 22. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Larimore won 38-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Cavalier (Cavalier, ND)
Next up, the Raiders confront the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets (New Rockford, ND) in a District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 19.
