Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) and the visiting Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX), saw Azle's basketball squad hold off Wichita Falls by a tally of 39-38.

With the victory, Azle improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 5. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Chisholm Trail lost 68-23 in their recent league challenge against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 5. Wichita Falls will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
