October 13, 2016: Wilmington, DE 19803 Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Hodgson Vo-Tech will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Sanford (Hockessin, DE).
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 18. Brandywine will confront a Green Knights team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Newark (Newark, DE). The Green Knights record now stands at 4-5.
