Iowa High School Softball - Lawton-Bronson bounces Woodbine
July 2, 2019: Lawton, IA 51030 Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 9-19 record. They take the field next when they host Western Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, July 8. Lawton-Bronson will battle a Wolfpack squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 9-13.
With the loss, Woodbine falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, July 8. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-19. Glidden-Ralston lost 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against CAM (Anita, IA)
