Arkansas High School Softball - McClellan knocked off by Clinton
April 15, 2019: Clinton, AR 72031 In Monday's non-league contest, the Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR) softball team overwhelmed the visiting McClellan Crimson Lions (Little Rock, AR), by a margin of 24-1.
With the triumph, Clinton moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Green Forest (Green Forest, AR) to play the Tigers in a 3A-1 East contest on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Green Forest lost 18-2 in their recent league contest against Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR)
In their next game, the Crimson Lions play the Stuttgart Ricebirds (Stuttgart, AR) in a 4A-5 contest, on Tuesday, April 16. McClellan will attempt to move on its 2-17 season record. The Ricebirds come into the contest with a 19-3 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR).
