Connecticut High School Softball - Pomperaug bounces Immaculate
May 10, 2019: Danbury, CT 06810 Spectators at Friday's league match between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the host Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), witnessed Pomperaug's softball squad prevail over Immaculate by a count of 15-2.
The Panthers now sport a 8-10 record. They play next when they host New Fairfield for a Southwest - Patriot match on Monday, May 13. Pomperaug will face a Rebels squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Immaculate moves to 5-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to face the Cougars in a Southwest - Patriot match on Monday, May 13. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 7-11. Kolbe-Cathedral lost 12-4 in their recent league match against Bethel (Bethel, CT)
