West Virginia High School Softball - Magnolia nudges Linsly
April 23, 2019: Wheeling, WV 26003 Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Eagles now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Harrison for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Magnolia will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Liberty (Clarksburg, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Linsly falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Bellaire (Bellaire, OH) to battle the Big Reds in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Big Reds enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
