Indiana High School Basketball - Paris overwhelms South Vermillion
December 21, 2019: Clinton, IN 47842 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) and the host South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN), saw Paris's basketball squad wallop South Vermillion by a tally of 60-33.
With the victory, Paris improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to confront the Cyclones in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 27. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 56-48 in their recent league challenge against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. South Vermillion will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 47-43 non-league loss to Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN).
