Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE) and the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), saw Dundy County-Stratton's basketball squad overcome Perkins County by a tally of 45-25.

With the victory, Dundy County-Stratton improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 4. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Wauneta-Palisade won 59-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Hyannis (Hyannis, NE)

Next up, the Plainsmen confront the Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Perkins County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Hershey (Hershey, NE).
