Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) and the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), saw Gothenburg's basketball squad overcome Hershey by a tally of 51-38.

With the victory, Gothenburg improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Swedes travel to Chase County (Imperial, NE) to face the Longhorns in a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 17-3. Chase County won 53-22 in their recent non-league game against Cozad (Cozad, NE)

With the defeat, Hershey moves to 7-15 on the year.
