California High School Basketball - Kennedy beaten by Taft

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Taft Wildcats basketball team scored a good 33-20 triumph over the Kennedy Thunderbirds.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a South Sequoia match, on Friday, January 10. Taft will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 45-39 league win over Chavez (Delano, CA).

With the defeat, Kennedy moves to 9-8 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Arvin (Arvin, CA) to face the Bears in a South Sequoia match on Friday, January 10. The Bears enter the match with a record of 13-3. Arvin won 46-41 in their recent non-league match against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA)
