In Friday's league match, the host Montrose Indians basketball team scored a good 38-19 triumph over the Grand Junction Central Warriors.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) in a 5A/4A Southwestern bout, on Tuesday, February 18. Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record.
