California High School Basketball - Monta Vista crushes San Jose
January 10, 2020: Cupertino, CA 95014 Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), 53-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monta Vista upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Matadors host Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to play the Spartans in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Mountain View lost 32-30 in their recent non-league bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 14. San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 38-26 non-league win over Oak Grove (San Jose, CA).
