Colorado High School Basketball - Arvada West holds off Skyview
January 17, 2020: Thornton, CO 80229 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) and the host Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO), saw Arvada West's basketball squad hold off Skyview by a tally of 33-32.
With the victory, Arvada West improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Monarch (Louisville, CO) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 21. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) in a 4A/3A Colorado 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Skyview will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 52-37 non-league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO).
