Nebraska High School Basketball - South Platte tops Wallace
January 16, 2020: Wallace, NE 69169 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) and the host Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE), saw South Platte's basketball squad knock off Wallace by a tally of 50-41.
With the victory, South Platte improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host Garden County (Oshkosh, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Garden County lost 63-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) in a D2 District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Wallace will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 50-33 non-league win over Creek Valley (Chappell, NE).
