Kansas High School Basketball - South succumbs to Central

February 14, 2020: Salina, KS 67401

The Central Mustangs topped the visiting South Cougars basketball team by a final score of 51-39 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I game, on Tuesday, February 18. Central will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 70-15 non-league win over Newton (Newton, KS).

With the defeat, South falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Eisenhower (Goddard, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Eisenhower won 55-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS)
