St. Margaret's Tartans (San Juan Capistrano, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), 8-3 in a non-league test.

The Tartans now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Faith Lutheran for a non-league test on Friday, March 1. St. Margaret's will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Mavericks face the Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 13. La Costa Canyon will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
