Nebraska High School Basketball - McCook nips Sidney
January 8, 2022: McCook, NE 69001 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) and the visiting Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE), saw McCook's basketball squad hold off Sidney by a tally of 54-48.
With the victory, McCook improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bison host Hastings (Hastings, NE) to play the Tigers in a B District 7 challenge on Friday, January 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Sidney will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 56-41 league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE).
