Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) and the visiting McArthur Mustangs (Hollywood, FL), saw Cypress Bay's basketball squad knock off McArthur by a count of 63-52.

With the victory, Cypress Bay upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Lightning host Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) to play the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Boyd Anderson won 59-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Deerfield Beach (Deerfield Beach, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Coral Springs Colts (Coral Springs, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. McArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 72-56 non-league win over Killian (Miami, FL).
