South Dakota High School Basketball - Upton crushes Lead-Deadwood
January 6, 2022: Lead, SD 57754 Upton Bobcats (Upton, WY) followers went home content Thursday as they observed their basketball team smash the host Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), 81-33 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Bobcats face the Arvada-Clearmont Panthers (Clearmont, WY) in a 1A Northeast game, on Friday, January 21. Upton will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 74-16 non-league loss to Big Horn (Big Horn, WY).
With the defeat, Lead-Deadwood moves to 1-6 on the year. The Golddiggers travel to New Underwood (New Underwood, SD) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, January 7.
