Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gilbert upgrades its record to 24-3 on the season. The Tigers host Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 18-8. Apollo won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ)
