February 8, 2022: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) basketball squad beat the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), by a margin of 80-68.
The Quarriers (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 15-0 record. In their last outing, Dakota Valley defeated Vermillion (Vermillion, SD), 79-57, in a league outing.
The Titans now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ethan for a B Region 4 outing on Thursday, February 10. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will clash with a Rustlers squad coming off a 74-73 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Rustlers record now stands at 11-5.
