January 29, 2022: Las Vegas, NV 89148 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL), saw Bishop Gorman's basketball squad wallop Whitney Young by a tally of 89-59.
With the victory, Bishop Gorman improves its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Gaels host Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Panthers in a 5A Southern challenge on Monday, January 31. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Palo Verde lost 71-53 in their recent league challenge against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV)
Next up, the Dolphins play the Vashon Wolverines (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 5. Whitney Young will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 49-42 non-league win over St. Rita (Chicago, IL).
