Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX), 75-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Waco (Waco, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, November 22. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Waco won 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against Killeen (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 23. Bastrop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
