In Friday's non-league match, the host Columbus Explorers basketball team scored a decisive 82-61 triumph over the Miami Stingarees.

In their next game, the Explorers meet the Flanagan Falcons (Pembroke Pines, FL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 17. Columbus will attempt to move on its 24-2 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 16-8 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL).
