Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Mills University Studies upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Robinson (Little Rock, AR) to clash with the Senators in a 4A Region 5 bout on Friday, February 11. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 11-9.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Lonoke Jackrabbits (Lonoke, AR) in a 4A Region 5 bout, on Saturday, February 12. Forrest City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 49-43 league loss to Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR).
