Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) and the host Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), saw Central City's basketball squad knock off Minden by a count of 53-39.

With the victory, Central City upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bison host Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, December 17. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 5-0. Doniphan-Trumbull won 64-40 in their recent non-league battle against Deshler (Deshler, NE)

The Whippets (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Elm Creek beat Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE), 44-37, in a league battle.
