West Virginia High School Basketball - PikeView tops Tazewell
December 18, 2021: Princeton, WV 24740 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) and the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), saw PikeView's basketball squad knock off Tazewell by a tally of 71-60.
With the victory, PikeView improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Independence (Coal City, WV) to play the Patriots in a Coalfield AA challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 20. Tazewell will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Golden Wave come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 54-42 non-league win over Holston (Damascus, VA).
