Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins can't hold off North Community

The Hopkins Royals basketball team (Minnetonka, MN), was nudged 76-70 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN)

The Polars now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a AA Section 5 battle on Tuesday, February 15. North Community will battle a Tommies team coming off a 79-56 league loss to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Tommies record now stands at 7-7.

The Royals (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Skippers come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Minnetonka edged DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), 79-67, in a non-league battle.
