North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN), 75-51 in a league bout.

With the win, North Community moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Polars travel to Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Teddies in a AA Section 4 game on Thursday, January 20. The Teddies enter the game with a record of 1-3. Roosevelt won 90-61 in their recent league game against Washington Tech (St. Paul, MN)

With the defeat, Minneapolis Southwest moves to 6-5 on the year. The Lakers travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to face the Bison in a non-league game on Thursday, January 20.
