With the victory, Cedar Creek upgrades its record to 14-15 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX) to play the Hawks in a 5A Region III District 18 bout on Friday, January 28. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 10-18. Hendrickson won 68-56 in their recent league bout against Bastrop (Bastrop, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pflugerville Panthers (Pflugerville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, January 28. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record.
