Colorado High School Volleyball - Conifer over Widefield
September 12, 2009: Conifer, CO 80433 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) and the visiting Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Conifer's volleyball squad beat Widefield by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Conifer upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lobos travel to D'Evelyn (Denver, CO) to play the Jaguars in a 4A Jeffco bout on Thursday, September 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
The Gladiators now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 15. Widefield will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-4.
