Match Summary
Still playing with the minimum roster of 6 Valley Alternative Magnet continued their enrollment in the school of hard knocks and dirty socks as they were swept in 3 at Northridge Academy. There were considerably fewer "deer in the headlight" stares on the court about rotations and positions. The JV finally made their 2009 debut bolstered by returning players Jamie Rodriguez and Daniella Castaneda who just now cleared eligibility. Yikes! Rookies Jessica Martinez and Stephany Valencia (a true 9th grade freshman) started and played all around as they must stay with the varsity according to CIF-LA City Section rules. Valley A&M must continue to beat the bushes for more JV players if Jamie and Daniella are to be able to switch over to the varsity. After yesterday's debacle with Fulton College Prep this was better.
