Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 55-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Benicia upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Pleasant Grove lost 76-31 in their recent league bout against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo - Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 21. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 71-40 league loss to Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA).
