Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL), 62-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Midfield upgrades its record to 14-14 on the season. The Patriots travel to Plainview (Rainsville, AL) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Bears enter the match with a record of 28-5. Plainview won 76-46 in their recent non-league match against Saks (Anniston, AL)

With the defeat, Glencoe moves to 10-13 on the year.
