Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), 50-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Sierra upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Stallions host Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Panthers in a 4A Colorado Springs Metro match on Saturday, January 25. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-3. Harrison lost 65-58 in their recent non-league match against Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO)

With the defeat, Mitchell moves to 8-4 on the year. The Marauders travel to Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Gladiators in a 4A Colorado Springs Metro match on Saturday, January 25. The Gladiators enter the match with a record of 7-6. Widefield won 73-71 in their recent league match against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO)
